had a fantastic walking tour in york and stay at a friendly, neat, and comfortable place close to amenities. Settlers House exceeded expectations with its professional staff, clean rooms, and oh-so-comfy bed. Enjoyed the tasty buffet breakfast too.

I had a fantastic stay at Settlers House. The location was perfect, with everything I wanted to see within walking distance. The room was quiet and clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hosts, Elaine and Brian, were so welcoming and friendly. I loved the entertainment with local bands playing classic music, and seeing Elaine perform was a treat. I highly recommend staying at this lovely establishment. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was great, and the service provided was very friendly. The staff were really helpful in giving us directions to all the local attractions we wanted to see. the location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the area, as it was right in the town center.

The room we stayed in was a little small, and there was not enough wardrobe space for both our clothes and the spare bed provided. We also had trouble with the shower, which had no handrails and no non-slip mat, making it very difficult to use.

We spent Easter at a hotel where the staff was extremely friendly and our room was clean and air-conditioned. One of the best aspects of our stay was its location, which was close to some great coffee shops and restaurants. we enjoyed the live music on Easter weekend, which added a great ambiance to our stay.

It seemed like the hotel had been neglected, with dead plants and grass adding to the disappointing look.
